Teen Driving Safety

On 2/11/08, CHOP pediatrician and injury prevention expert Dr. Flaura Winston and her colleagues led a discussion at the HHS re: teen driving safety issues.  The teens and parents attending the session found the information presented to be very interesting (and terrifying),  As a result, the PTSA (led by the HHS parent who organized Dr. Winston's presentation, Theresa Edler) and the HHS administration are considering ways to bring the presentation back again next year to a larger audience, as well as ways that teen driving safety education can be permanently integrated into HHS and community life -- to save lives.  If you would like to help, please visit the Contacts page and let Inge or Mike know -- we'll put you in touch w/ Theresa.
