PTSA Education Grant Fund

[We are not soliciting contributions for the Education Grant Fund for the 2011-2012 school year. Due to the economy and declining PTSA membership, we have decided to suspend the awarding of grants for this school year. We will consider resuming them next year. We could still use money and volunteers for the BLAST, though!]

For the past seventeen years the PTSA of Haverford High School has sponsored the “Haverford High School PTSA Education Grant Fund.” In May of 2010, sixteen $500 scholarships were awarded.

Each student must have contributed to their school and community in any of a variety of ways. After reviewing numbered applications to preserve anonymity, a panel of volunteers selects students based solely on their achievements.

You, parents/guardians and members of the community, are the reason for our success by responding so generously with your contributions to the scholarship fund. No contribution is too small. Any amount is gratefully accepted, and those who donate $25 or more to the fund by April 30, 2011 are recognized in the Senior Honors Night Awards & Scholarships program as education grant patrons.

Remember, your contribution is tax deductible. The PTSA is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.
